AIDS – A broader definition of autoimmune deficiency: Looking at the immune system and it’s inability to protect us in this age of toxicity and how we can with consciousness, change behaviors that will strengthen our immune system and afford us defenses against the killers of modern society.

Dr. Cottrell is a licensed physician in New York and Board Certified in Family Medicine. She is a cum laude graduate of Mercer University, Macon, Ga. and graduate of Woman’s Medical College of Pennsylvania. She was a research associate in cholesterol metabolism at Wistar Institute, Phila., Pa. and a Fellow in Preventive Medicine at Mt. Sinai School of Medicine, N.Y., N.Y.

Dr. Cottrell has practiced the Philosophy of Macrobiotics in her own life and in her medical practice for 31 years. She co-authored “AIDS: Macrobiotics and Natural Immunity” with Michio Kushi and has traveled and lectured world wide with him. She currently lives in Asheville, N.C. and continues this work.
